Calling all artists!
There are several projects coming soon to St. John’s that are aimed at providing rehearsal, studio, and performance space to artists. The new home of the St. John’s Farmers’ Market will have significant amounts of rental space available, as will the Cochrane Community Outreach and Performance Centre, which is transforming the annex building at Cochrane St. United Church into a mix of supportive housing, flexible space, and rental studios.
Happy City will be helping facilitate a joint meeting for these two organizations, who both want to hear from the local arts community about how to make the best use of these exciting spaces!
Come hear a bit about the projects, and tell the organizers what you’d like to see happen, what you’d need from a space, and how much would be a fair price to charge for it.
