Jun 9: Growing Community: Food growing and composting in Centre City
Join us for a lively walk to discover the ‘growing community’ in centre city. We will start on Sunday, June 9th at 2:00PM at Aldershot Community Garden on 30 Aldershot Street. From there we will visit Georgestown Community Compost and Bonaventure Community Garden, school gardens at Holy Heart of Mary and St. Bon’s, and finish at the Tessier Park Fruit Forest.
We’ll dig into the role of gardens to enhance social spaces with hosts Sarah Crocker and Viviana Ramirez Luna.
