We’re delighted to announce we are teaming up for the first time with Memorial’s Hub for the Study of Local Governance in Newfoundland and Labrador to host an hour-long discussion between all four candidates in the upcoming council by-election for Ward 4.

To set the stage for the discussion, we would like you to suggest key questions for all candidates about their plans and priorities. We will pull together the best of these at the end of the week and ask the candidates to respond before they meet in person. Their responses will be published here when they arrive.

The form to submit candidate questions is open until Saturday March 2nd, at 6pm. We have pulled together all the media coverage from candidates’ current and past election campaigns here.

The session will be streamed live via Facebook on Wednesday March 6th at 8pm and moderated by Dr Elizabeth Schwartz, the Director of the newly-formed SLG-Hub, who researches and teaches municipal politics and public policy.
